INSTITUTES OF NATIONAL SCIENCE AT THE IASHE

In the near future, the Academy aims to start building the Institutes of National Science of different countries at the IASHE.

The main task of the Institutes of National Science is to promote and represent the science of different countries at the international level, integrate it into the global scientific processes, present and promote national scientists and their achievements. The Institute of National Science is a kind of a permanent scientific office of a certain country in Europe.

In general, functions of the Institutes of National Science are similar to the functions of the IASHE Sectoral Institutes. But the Institute of National Science is an inter-sectoral organization, specializing in problems, achievements and development goals of the entire national science of a particular country.

The Institutes of National Science arrange the publication (under the auspices of the IASHE) of collections (collective monographs) of scientific papers authored by national scientists, encyclopedias of the national scientific elite and periodicals (journals) related to the issues of national science of sectoral or interdisciplinary nature.

The Institutes of National Science have a management structure similar to that of the sectoral institutions. At the same time, the activities of the Institutes of National Science may be supervised by the elected President and Vice-Presidents and collegial governing bodies (the Scientific Congress and the Scientific Council). Boards of trustees may also function within the organizational system of Institutions.
