Paid awarding of progressive activities of recommended aspirants is possible when their obvious achievements in the scientific or social spheres do not comply with the requirements imposed on aspirants (such variance may not exceed 50%). The possibility to use the mechanism of paid awarding is determined and announced by the IASHE Scientific Council in each case separately.
** — The Class of the award to be given to the corresponding person (fully complying with the established requirements imposed on candidates for awarding) is determined by the IASHE Scientific Council taking into account the actual scientific or social reputation of such person, as well as his/her achievements within the projects of the Academy. Usually the persons with no previous significant achievements in the IASHE projects can initially be given only the Second Class awards. The First Class awards are given to persons already possessing the similar Second Class awards, or to those having significant achievements within the Academy projects together with the obvious scientific or social authority.
